Some books are to be tasted, others to be swallowed, and some few to be chewed and digested: that is, some books are to be read only in parts, others to be read, but not curiously, and some few to be read wholly, and with diligence and attention. (Sir Francis Bacon)

Dead and Gone (Charlaine Harris)

This is a Sookie Stackhouse novel. Once again, I've read out of order so it didn't make complete sense. The book would have stood alone, I think. But because I've read other books in this series I kept mixing up events that happened before and after the events I was reading.

I think my favorite part was the weres coming out of the closet. And who knew that fairies were really quite nasty creatures. Harris has created a world that I'm starting to believe in. No wonder the series is so popular.
