In the intro, Neil Gaiman talked about his love of stories that made him say "and then what happened." This collection of tales was based on that idea of "and then what happened." I'm not as big of a fan of that idea; I prefer a story to be completed at some point.
There were a couple of stories in the book that I loved, so it's definitely worth reading.
