Some books are to be tasted, others to be swallowed, and some few to be chewed and digested: that is, some books are to be read only in parts, others to be read, but not curiously, and some few to be read wholly, and with diligence and attention. (Sir Francis Bacon)

Plum Lucky (Janet Evanovich)

"You can put the horse in the garage, but I don't want that horse in my apartment."
"Who would put a horse in an apartment? That's dumb."
"Where's the horse staying now?"
"My apartment."

It's classic Janet Evanovich.

Plum Lucky is one of the Stephanie Plum Between-the-Numbers series. These books features Stephanie's adventures with Diesel, another hunk of a man who may be a little more than the norm. In this adventure we get to visit Atlantic City, meet a leprechaun, talk with a horse, rescue Gramma after she's kidnapped by a mobster, and blow up two cars.
